Project: A major broadcasting company, a subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar media conglomerate, sought to improve management of its advertising revenues. At the outset of the project, advertising sales data was maintained in multiple systems, causing fragmentation across different teams. Data quality issues, limited use of existing reporting systems, and the need for manual intervention and long lead times to combine and report information led this organization to look for a better solution. Kalido and Axis were chosen to build a system to consolidate the various data sources and allow the information to be shared by Sales, Finance, Budgeting, Billing and Collections departments.
