Albert  Hughes is responsible for the strategic vision, direction, and day-to-day leadership of the company.  Al founded Axis Group in 1996 with the vision of leveraging business intelligence technology to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions to the management and operational reporting needs of companies.  Under Al's direction, Axis has established a reputation as a leading professional services firm and has provided hundreds of successful  BI and information management solutions to Global 2000 and midsized organizations.  The highly talented team of Axis professionals delivers a full range of services -- from formulation of an enterprise information strategy, to design, development and implementation of solutions.   In 2002, Inc. Magazine and the Inc. 500 named Axis as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

Before founding Axis, Al was the Director of Professional Services for SND, a leading consulting firm, and was a consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton.  He has more than 20 years experience with computer technology and systems including business intelligence, database, web, networking, client/server and mainframe technologies.  Al has a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
